Google Earth has been on autopilot for the last few years as Google busied itself with other things. Now, the product is getting its first major update since 2012 with staggeringly cool 3D maps, guided tours, and a whole lot more. You dont even need to download anything special to check it out on your computer as long as you use Chrome. Simply head over to the new and improved Earth web interface. For Android users, theres also a new version of the Earth app rolling out. One of the most fascinating things about Earth was simply scrolling around to see what the world looks like from above.
